    So, whats your time?

    Hey Guys and Gals

I have just managed to get a hold of this months "Superbike" mag and found something really neat that I thought might be cool for a few people to learn.
The new BMW K1200R does a rather nifty 2.8sec 0-105km/hr time. Not bad for a naked me thinks.

But what about you? How long does it take you to get from 0-100km/hr? Surely this would be a prime time for those who have modified their bikes to exaggerate too. And compare the stats from a stock model.

It would be better to hear from your own experience than quote out of a book, but it doesnt really matter.

I do can get from 0-100 in 5.6secs
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

All I can tell from audio recordings is that my bike takes around 3 seconds on an average launch to get to 75 (1st gear), making it fair to say around 5.0-5.3 for 100kmh with a clutchless upshift. I'm trying to borrow a video camera to find out around Ardmore when I have to go there

    Arrow To be honest.

    I have no idea.

Read somewhere that the CBR will do it in 2 seconds, around the same as the other current litre bikes, helps not having to change outta 1st gear to do it.

The CBR may take 5 and a half seconds to reach 100, but damn it sounds good doing it

Yes, they may do it in less than 3 seconds, but could YOU or I do it?

In the real world, probably between 3 and 4 is more realistic.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I voted for 5 - 8 seconds but I'm really not sure how long it takes the FXR to get up to 100. Anyone got any idea?

Surprisingly, the ST1300 isn't as quick off the mark as a ZRX1200R...
