Picked it up on the weekend. Wanted a commuter that didn't involve a couple of grands panel damage in the event of a small bingle, and one that didn't cost $70 a fortnight in gas alone. Plus I like riding to and from work. Clears the head.

It looks even nicer now! Do I detect a net reduction in appliques?

Yes. There are less stickers, but I left the THC one on the front mudguard and the KB one on.

I'll take the squid boy as an insult then? Besides, I never critisised the mighty wheezehound.

Nice bike Jim. I wondered how long it would be before you succumbed and bought a commuter.

I've been using the Mothers range for a while now. Their pure canuba wax is really good for metal work. If you want to give the bike a quick clean up after commuting try using the Pledge wipes from the supermarket. Work really well removing chain oil from the rear wheel, and leave a layer of wax which makes cleaning next time easier.

THanks Pwalo. I'll add the wipes to the shopping list. One presumes they would work equllay well for viors.

Very nice Jim. It's great to see people keeping their steeds looking good.

Should be good after a quick buff up with a clean cloth. Still use the spray on Pledge after a gentle clean with a wet paper towel. Definitely a bonus being able to hide the costs in the grocery shopping.

Unfortunately no. The Pledge wipes are quite "moist" and leave streaky marks on a visor.
