I'll be giving a master-class in how to text, update facebook, tweet, update KB and grossly exceed the speed limit while not wearing my seatbelt or giving a shit.

If that doesn't pass, I don't know what will.

Ah see you've already missed something; better be more onto it on the day, you could have been failed for lack of alcohol in the system with that list & that's an instant disqualification... Also it's good practice to lower the seat or slump so you can barely see through the steering wheel & wear a baseball cap or hoodie this will help gain favour with the tester

missed a couple Steve. Base speaker in the boot thumping away, folded arm with elbow out the window just waiting for the next passing truck, and the for sale sign on the back

I've changed my attitude to being wrong over the years.

Used to be I'd get all defensive, dig my toes in, that sort of thing. Now I see it as an opportunity to improve by learning whats right.

So if I fail a test next week, it's a chance to improve. It'll cost a few dollars etc, but I'll be better for it.

I have some degree of sympathy with those who are always right. Not much to learn, when you're always right.

Out of interest, like most, I'm pretty confident of passing all the tests first time. But if I don't, it won't be the end of the world.

Less serious note tho, it's the stupid shit that's likely to trip you up
ALWAYS indicate outta roundabouts no matter how small & useless it is you force that indicator to indicate!
look speedo, mirror, mirror, mirror & repeat... if you find sometime in-between maybee glance at the road but that's optional. You must however pay attention to the speedo & mirrors every 8secs & make it obvious
Regardless of how far out your speedo is always make sure it indicates below 50km/h or 100km/h... there's no such thing as "impeding the flow of traffic" with the test
Never take gaps that an old granny wouldn't take
Don't merge, give way... apparently merging isn't the correct thing to do at merges (this could be dependant on the tester tho unsure)
Always drive in the gutter only pulling out to avoid cyclists of all people

That must be an optional extra is it, don't get to see much of it down this way. Way too hard to txt and indicate at roundabouts at the same time.

oh once you have a licence apparently you're supposed to indicate right to drive straight through, indicate left when you can be bothered or hell just not indicate at all; I mean you know where you're going others can just work it out for themselves

I'll wait for some sage advice from Azkill before the test. That'll make all the difference.

    2nd opinions are always good...
Also I can't believe I forgot about traffic lights; you must remember green is go, orange is speed up & running reds is all the rage nowadays so if you wanna be "cool" remember to run those reds. After all they're just guides, you know, like white lines & keeping left

Mounting the roundabout indicates you want to go straight through still?

The small area between yellow lines is still the motorbike lane?
