    Meccano bike

isle of man, meccano and James May are not three things you would expect to see in the same sentence, but they do belong together. A very enjoyable little jaunt around the isle of man tt course on a bike completely made of meccano. Now if James May can make a bike that will do a lap of the isle of man surely a good old number 8 wire Kiwi Biker can come up with something hat will do a good lap of Whanganui railway lines and all.

see http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x19...ary_shortfilms for James's lap of the TT course.

It was on TV over the weekend. Great watch and really quite edge of the seat stuff (for something that maxed out at about 15mph (downhill))

Not bike related, but some of his other Toy Story specials are a good watch. Toy Story Flight Club, and Action Man at the Speed of Sound are worth checking out. Torrents are available for those inclined.

That's the whole point. He's doing this with old fashioned toys, meccano, trains, action man
