Full License test advice wanted (Specifically Lower Hutt but any advice is welcome!)

    Hi all

Apologies if there are 100's of these threads around, I did a quick search of the forum but couldn't find any so here goes:

Got my full license test coming up on Wednesday, it's a really short notice one, my boss rang me up today and basically said "can you have your full MB license by the end of the week? is that possible?", I just hit my 18 months on the 5th of May so it really is short notice, it's been on my mind but I was going to leave it a month or two. Anyway I managed to book a test out in Lower Hutt (I'm in Wellington City) for Wednesday and was just looking for any pointers when it comes to the test in general (obvious tips and tricks that I may have missed) and anybody who has done their test out in the Hutt re test route etc.

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Don't ride like a muppet

that's basically all the test is looking for. As long as you know the road rules, and ride sensibly there's no reason to fail.

Just a few thoughts. Stop at stop signs. Comply with traffic lights. Don't follow too close. Don't speed.

I think you'll be getting the idea.

i've heard the testing guy from lower hutt likes jaffas, take a box of jaffas along and wave them under his nose, heard this several times, as i've got my full licence never needed to find out.

after 18 months - you should be sweet

    relax, relax, relax
get there early, check the bike, check the bike again
    paperwork check

relax its a ride remember, if your not sure ask. Sometimes the radio stuff is hard to here

There is no pressure to ride fast.

    relax

(now I need to follow my own advice)

    good luck
