You have to PASS the theory and practical FIRST ... Both are on the same day. Fail one or not complete the other ... a resit of BOTH is required.

nope the lady said they not on the same day,
i go and sit theory then ride around get used to riding a bike ect..... then go and sit pratical test

Untill then ... you ride on a Rarotonga license ... correct .. ?? As you have NOT reached ANY NZ license pass level.

12 months on any overseas license is the maximum allowed in New Zealand. Thats 12 months from when you arrived in country.

going for my theory test tomorrow morning,
feeling nervous
i got did some test sheets online the last few days and have it all down packed, so hopefully ill be all sweet.

also will give you guys an update on what type of licence i will get.

untill you pass both stages of a license test .. you get/have what you started with. A Raro license.

Not dissimilar to a wheetbix license ...
