Bars go into the top triple? I wonder if that weakens the top triple if the bike takes a tumble?

Points for anyone that can make that a haiku.

Would expect the crafty engineers to have designed a snap of grove in the bar for that reason. Even my old RF has one of those.

So someone asks OP for a picture of his bars, OP posts a stock photo of a new bike (because OP is apparently not the sharpest tool in the box) and everyone starts commenting on the (obviously watermarked) stock photo making comments that the forks look tweaked etc.

This thread is full of stupid.

Don't always agree with Mr Gaynor but this time he's on it.

The OP doesn't seem to have extensive mechanical expertise, he should get someone who knows what they are doing to look at the bike. Different I know, but when the aluminum bars on my Ducati got bent I replaced them. Handlebars are actually quite important.

Thanks for your input Mr Gayner, obviously a person with an intelligence such as yours is wasted on this thread.

    Assuming wheel was straight, yes.
What, you couldn't???? No surprises there.
And yes it is a photo of another bike so we have been informed, so yes the bars will look good aye! Slight kink in the bars would indicate now that it was sitting with wheel facing slightly to the left.
Are we all good now or do you need more explanations as you sometimes seem to need?

I'm all for everyone slagging each other off, but this post makes no sense at all.

Get some apes for it. At least next time you fall off you know when they are bent.

Ditto, I'm confused as to why you would need to see the front wheel at all to know if the bars are bent.

From the picture that was posted, it looks like the OP should be able to pull the bar out of the triple. Leave the grip on, but take of the switch cluster, put a straight edge along that section and he'll be able to eyeball any bend in it.

Im going to stay out of this I asked for a picture of the bike not some other bike. Didn't even occur to me to study the script with the photo.
