Motorcycles are not allowed to park on the footpath.

Unlike most civilised cities around the world!

With the advent of the internet there is no longer valid reasons for battery farming humans in concrete cages.
As long as it works. The missus and me work from home at least one day a week - power's off all day for maintenance, so, off to the concrete cage I come.......also - country internet is not exactly as flash as city networks.......

True, but any losses to internet speed when I work from Tuakau are compensated for in lack of attention drains that exist in an open plan office.

yeah I found it eventually..... only a litre left.
would have waited for Whakamaru but hadnt been that way before.

Last time was on a bus - stayed at the Mangakino Marae, went to the pub - that was an eye opener.

found out later it was the cross road from Bennydale
nice areas around and roads quite good to.
planning on going back down that way end of the year

Where? I think there were 8-10 in West Auckland alone last year. They tend to treat that stat as a target.

Hey this is for the Auckland bashing yokels..
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Nah, but the breaks to play with the kids are still shorter than how long it takes me to make espressos and lattes at work.
It's a bit more free range within the zone. They usually leave me to get on with work when they see SQL Server Management Server open up.
IIS, VMware, robo copy type scripting, powershell they are all keen to watch. SSMS = dad is boring.

Bad news for Auckland Motorcycle riders

If I had the money I spent getting to work last year on building an office in my back yard I would have no distractions. Just pure work. Yes I do get a little obsessive about work .
I sometimes forget to go home. The other night I was chewing on a difficult piece of code. Suddenly blam it worked. Looked down at the task bar. Oops I should have been home for dinner 2 two hours ago.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.
