    Ok its in camo but they only do 30K on the road to save the tracks

    we get that here regularly, people crossing railway tracks who simply can't see a 90 tonne unit, on the tracks it's supposed to be, and unable to veer even an inch, yet people still get hit by them

    The thing that got me was "British and Nato forces are stationed at a base near to the road - the name of which translates to "Tank Ring Road" - in the Lippe district of Germany." .... errr,.. she was driving where tanks normally drive... It's like saying,..lets go for a drive to Afghanistan and complain about the car getting blown up by an IED...

    Would be the same psyc thing as the reason people miss bikes I'd imagine yeah? Brain doesn't expect to see it so it's automatically ignored.

    Not unheard of... I recall a woman turning in front of a NZLAV near Linton Army Camp a few years back (near Massey University) ...I don't think that ended well either.
