Any other VX800 owners in Christchurch?

Hi there i have four months ago bought a 1991 jap import vx800 suzuki with 73000 on the clock off trademe, I have cleaned it up had it serviced with carbs balanced, changed all fluids, new plugs,s enjoying the simple touquey v twin, I am a 47 year old rider first bike since sold my last 750 approx 13years ago anyone out there in my area with same bike, setting it up with panniers and going to put small windshield on front for touring.

Did you get around to de-restrict the VX800?
I just bought one and want to get the all the bhp from the engine.

Ha ha. Man wants to meet a soulmate (bike-wise of course) in Christchurch and the first response is about as far away from Christchurch as it's possible to get on the planet. (Well it amused me at the time.)
