At pak n save NP I came back to my bike to find my bike in the main aisle half in the trolley return. In a nice arc from where I left it.
At pak n save NP I came back to find bike rolled forward to the gaps between the rows and someone in my spot. No way out until someone moved their car, so I had the car towed.
At st Luke's someone moved my scooter to a space beside a pillar so they could have my spot.
In Devon st New Plymouth I was parked sharing a space with 3 other bikes. Came back the others gone and my bike pushed on its side on the footpath.

Only one of those is in the last 20 years. Should be easy to spot.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.
That's why I always leave my bikes in gear when I park ... chances are only another rider would figure it out - most car drivers don't have a hope ..

The last time I caught someone I was at Caltex in Te Atatu.
I came out and some dude was walking my bike away, obviously to get his Holden (not sure if clubman or SS but had leather seats, spoiler kit etc.) so I openened his door slid his seat back and made ready to get in...
    Should have seen his face.

It helps being a 6 inches to a foot taller than most when this occurs.

My wife has a mobility parking thingy (she has heaps of ironmonger in her joints), I'm really tempted, next time she's pillion, to park in town with the permit displayed. Only I'd be worried someone would nick it.

That is, quite simply put, ... disgusting!

I have seen quite a few things before, in many parts of the country and around the globe, however that is possibly right up there.

    How could you?
    Seriously?
$26- for a pair of socks?
Were they knitted by virginal spinsters using gold thread, atop a Himalayan mountain whilst chanting incantations to guide errant motorcyclists?

Yeah, sorry Swoop - it's not just you smooth Aucklanders who spend up large on your appearance . I was getting ready for another Grand Challenge 1600km in Under 24 hours ride. Possum and wool socks had just arrived on the market and they charged like wounded bulls for them. Bet you thought that Tokoroa boys went barefoot, eh bro?

Number one rule regarding motorbikes in my book is never, ever touch/move someone else's bike.
Except of course moving someones bike if it was at risk of being painted or hit by construction equipment.

It infuriates me no end that people touch and damage other people's property like that.

If I caught someone moving my bike, I'd jump into their car and drive it onto the footpath.
Or just put my helmet on and headbutt them.

This time of year, per Mom's warm gear thread, it's slippers, PJs and a swandri if it's really cold. People with jobs can swap the swandri for one of those fancy hi-viz jacket things.

I came out of the local supermarket just after I'd bought my new bike, and found some "damned native" sitting on it talking to some of his mates.

I read him the riot act and told him if where I come from people get their hands cut off for touching other people's bikes. Don't know if he fully understood what I said; (English is not widely spoken here,) but he shifted pretty quickly.

on another note, ten of us were parked at BP frankton a couple of year ago, ten bikes spread across three parks and some asshole winds his window down and abuses us for taking up so much room with our bikes
