Who makes small single bike trailers?

I'm after a small trailer (not very wide or heavy) to transport my track bike.

I've seen some really cool ones were they are quite narrow with just a rail for the bike and not a lot else. Light and simple. Anyone know who might make these?

...the same people who make really, really big ones...you just have to ask for a really, really small one...

Several years back an Akl customer of mine had seen one of the Uk made single bike trailers which fold up for storage. He wanted one here in NZ and AFAIK approached a couple of Akl trailer manufacturers about copying the design. I never heard the outcome sorry...

Look for one of those 'fold away' car trailers. Get a channel 4x2? bolted to the floor. I would be a bit nervous about towing my bike on a real narrow trailer.

It doesn't have to be really narrow, but the idea was that I would be able to store it easily. The ideal width would allow it to just fit in the back of a Ford Transit (jumbo version) for storage.

pretty much any engineering company will be able to make one for you.

might be cheaper to buy a rusty one, and just get that fixed up, than to build from scratch, unless you have some things like hubs stubs wheels etc to supply for them to use.

Marcus Motors in Parnell has a small single rail trailer, presumably from China, for somewhere around $1700.

Buy the trade me one, Eddie is a great guy (on KB as EddieB) and that's a good price. I had a small trailer made by Reid Trailers in Glenfield, cost about $2500, telescopic draw bar so it fits into a 2m x2m area and provides a work bench when not towing, also stands on end to store vertically. Works well for me and my limited space but was a bit more to buy than I really wanted to spend, it does however tow very well and has been all over the upper north island at highway speeds.
