Learner buddies be careful what you buy off Trade Me

    hey dudes

im a fresh learner myself . and well I just brought some so called alpinestar M1 gloves , looked amazing on trademe , just received them today ...

I was so stoked to get them ....

but then I just started seeing weird things .... they are medium and are pretty tight and I know im not a large so that was my first give away for knock off alert ...
so I looked around them more and just the padding around seemed off ..the patterns stitched in etc had to much excess material over the stitching lines..... so was questioning more ..... then the monster logo was stitched on upside down haha so yea gave up trying to convince myself to keep them , so emailed selling getting full refund ..

just watch out on knock off stuff as ive learnt my lesson will be going to a bike shop to get some proper safety gloves haha

name and shame seller ... not listed gloves atm but usually sells them http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Lis...member=4820665

So you get a pair of high end gloves for next to nothing and expect it to be legit?

If they're advertised as Alpinestars on TradeMe then the buyer should get a pair of Alpinestars in the mail.

My favourite is made in the same factory without brand name for a fraction of the price.
If this was true they should put the brand name on and make triple the profit?

Are you new to the internet? Selling fake knock-offs as the real thing is second only to porn as the purpose of the internet, just look on ebay.

    good old Aliexpress specials.

How much did you pay? I'm thinking of getting some for race gloves, they are cheap enough to throw away after 1 crash.
