Cheers OP. So much for an early night. Amazing carnage watching normal riders. Excellent.

I'd say. I only had a chance to look for a few mins to find one of the amateur guys literally launching the bike over some logs without himself seated on it. Poor bike, but entertaining as hell

Birch 8th after day 1, 30 min down on the leader, Kevin Archer leading the Silver, with kiwis being 4 out of the top 5 overall in that class,

Jarvis with a 4 minute lead, and he started first, which was talked about being a disadvantage on the prologue coverage yesterday

    Big crash.

    He's OK but very disappointed.

Looks like it may have happened on the way to cp6 out of 9 for the day.
The Romaniacs App shows him completing up to cp5.

Looks like Jonny Walker picked up 6mins on Jarvis.

    this from Enduro 21

"Unfortunately Chris Birch (KTM) is an early retirement of the race. While cruising in fourth gear he had a nasty high-speed crash. With a damaged bike and feeling a bit dizzy, he decided to play it safe and quit while he was ahead.

As he left the track towards the Service Point, Chris was spotted helping Silver class riders up a difficult section. Aside from a few bad bruises he is ok."

Don't lynch me, but when did Chris Birch last win an international race?
    Just wondering.

    Kiwis dominate Silver class

    Silver

The Silver class was dominated by New Zealanders Archer, Herbert, Clarke, Parker, Broughton and Grey, who consistently placed in the top 10. Kevin Archer (KTM) maintained his overall lead throughout, with his closest threat being Norbert-Levente Jozsa (KTM), who finished as runenr0-up. The Romanian Norbert kept pushing Archer throughout the race but Archer was the stronger rider and won the Silver class.

That's brilliant. I take my hat off to these blokes for getting over there and being so competitive in the event.
