kawasaki km100, learnt to ride on one of these and thrashed the arse off it.

1975 cr250, (belonged to a mates brother but i rode it more than he did) fond memories of this bitch as it threw me through a barberry hedge and in to hospital for two weeks.

1979 xr250z, first bike i actually owned and spent a lot of hours riding the fire breaks in the forestry between Te Puke and Rotorua as well as the forestry roads around Kawerau

and my Trusty zzr1100, haven't yet decided whether it will get buried with me or handed down

    Bugger, tried to resist but...

TDM 850. Still surprising me after many, many years. And a bike ahead of it's time. The only bike I have owned which unfailingly can match my mood and roads I want to ride.

Aprilia Tuono twin. Introduced me to the laughing bike, handled far better than I could imagine, had a wee Italian chuckle every time I came out of a corner at 40%, was comfortable, which I never imagined, and visceral.

DT 400. Speaking of visceral, Stan Stephens tune and a bite like a Bull dog. Laugh? It was possessed.

DT 230. Amazing bit of design. If Yamaha could build a 2t that good in the late 90's imagine how good they would be now? Pulls from nothing, linear, grips like a tank and tells lies about how fast your going into the next corner. Good brakes...

    Want.. Really want.... TDR 250.
    Manopausal.

    In no particular order.....

GPX250 ( I don't have a pic of it) but it was fun for a little bike

DR350 go anywhere, mostly un brakeable

DR750. Sometimes you get on a bike and it just "fits" Shame it got to be so un reliable

And the current ride. F800GS It fits just right too, and I like riding it

    that I have had
    4) CBR 600 F2 - because it was my first bigger bike. did everything well. had reasonable powEr and was very forgiving.
    3) TZR 250. an adhd teenager hiGh on cocaine. loud, obnoxious, lots of fun. loved this one
    2) XZ 400. cruiser. unreliable. loud. shit electrics. fuckall preformance. leaked shit everywhere. lights worked intermittently. but sounded like sex, and I loved it
    1) 08 R1. probably because I worked on it and lightened it so much.
