I think the average car-driving commuter would be quite disheartened by the amount of damage a 300KG mass moving at 60kph would do to the average car door assembly.

So while you're recuperating in hospital you can at least avail yourself of the cheery thought that you've probably written their car off and at least ruined that calendar month for them.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

On the north western I have had about 3 people open doors, more than that bark like dogs, curse of sound their horn, god only knows how many flick an indicator on just to see my reaction, spit or flick cigarettes at me and worst someone took a shot at me. Didn't see from what or hang around to find out. Black tube. Pop noise. Something passed between chest and arm and sparked when it hit the chain link fence.

I had a cup of coffee thrown at me on the northern.

    Nothing on the southern.

I don't speed when lane splitting.
I did used to get this kind of abuse when some ghost rider wannabe was the last bike before me.
I say this in the past tense because I don't use the north western much any more.

    My bike? 260kgs
Me? Including gear and lunch? 160kgs.

420kgs would indeed make a mess of a door assembly.

OMG! the reaction of those unfortunate twats crawling (or worse sitting) in their safe enclosed metal environment is staggering.
I got hit buy a paintball once, not on the motorway though, but hitting my helmet at 100 kph it certainly shook a few things, Anne copped some as she was pillion at the time, and concluded we had been hit by a paintball when I noticed the bright green colour on the tank.

Ditto. Tuakau is certainly a step up but it's missing my kind of employer.

I need to telecommute more often.

How would it work with Japanese? I have it on first hand account, "they're too stringy"......

Yep. By my calculations if I telecommute half the week I could save enough in transport cost to build an office in the back yard. Save myself 6 hours a week and provide greater productivity to my employer.

Tuakau is beyond the Bombays, just, but still beyond... so the great ice wall advances north that far each autumn and retreats south each spring... I know 'cause I've seen it with my own eyes...

Thus begins the latest fairy tale...
