Hurro fellow bikers! Long time no see! Just wondering where all you good folks from out West (Auckland) go to buy bike tyres? Reason I ask is I recently bought Mag & Turbo in New Lynn & have been thinking about stocking bike tyres also. Was chatting with a customer this morning who reckons there isn't anywhere out here that does them, which sounded a little odd.
And because no thread is complete without a pic or two.....here's a pic of the brand new BMW R1200RT I toured the south island on summer just gone.....what an amazing bike!!

Treads for price when service and time don't matter.
Drury performance centre when time doesn't matter and a little mileage is desirable.
Red Baron when price is less of importance than time and service.
Now if there was somewhere that gave great service, was timely and had free coffee and a good selection of current magazine's while I waited price would be less of a factor.
I tend to shop on only those the factors (price, timely, service) unless I am after a specific tyre because all the offerings I have tried have had equally grotty waiting areas, usually with no seating. Usually with bathrooms that look like the before photos from a grease removal advert.
So price becomes first consideration but can be over ruled by convenience. Especially when a bald tyre was a bit of a surprise.
