Sweet day people, bit of grit on the rd's but hey ya get that. Still a fair bit of snow up the Hill Top (you can see it in the pic a Akaroa) A reasonable turn out plenty of one wheeled action R1 them skidders you leave on re entry are up to 3m long.... and smell bad from behind :slap:

Skyrider good to meet up with you in Akaroa, those at the meeting point (see pics) were Bren_chch... I saw that wee mono, Sniper, R1a, SuzyQ... nice new bike a .6 R1, Rashika and Biff.

As far as the Social Riders rally went.... well they werent too social, $25 just to walk in so we dident go in, hell if they had said a fiver then we would have spent some money at there bar... ohh well looked HD oriented, so no big deal

    Cool

Great ride today, the R6 is running sweet and I seem to be riding it quite well! I even led the boys round the Old Tai Tapu Road, not a common occurance and I did cheat, but I thought they would catch me.
I have now seen 201kms (twice today) on the clock, didn't quite get my head blown off. Looking forward to getting my new screen. Not wanting to brag and all but I was also 4th from Akaroa to Little River, a lucky passing manouever helped that along nicely
I had expected the roads to be worse, so for me it was a great ride, a couple of bad corners but nothing serious. Enjoyed myself immensly.

yep damn good day and ride, weather was absolutely superb!
My first 'real' ride on the bike, at least in weather that was okay anyway.

Okay a little bit of grit on the tops but better than I anticipated, and the bike was brilliant......I just gotta learn to ride it now, damn different to a cruiser thats fer sure, but by the time I was getting towards home I was definately starting to get the hang of it.

Still buzzing a bit now.... shame its nightime and I've had few
Awesome day and good company...and nice to meet the guys I hadn't meet before!

the toothpaste tubes are: R1Aaron in the red/grey/white about to piss on his own bike and Bren_chch walking over to piss on the R6 (or are they both just playing with themselves????)
