    I got the same reaction when filling mine ...

    I've filled up in Napier, riden to Wellington, then up the Kapiti Coast - switched onto reserve just before Levin ... when I stopped it took 33 litres - so I still had two litres left - may well have go to Palmy North ...

    The Versys is kind of amazing. The tank is 19l and when the last bar is blinking it still has 9l in the tank. I reckon I could get 360km easily and 400km with a bit of care. It's double what I was used to with the XJR and that had a 21l tank. I'd be getting very nervous at 230km on the XJR.
