How's the SDR going, no problems?

Yeah it lives on the stand. Had it for the Speed Triple, so just needed the 1290 adapter plate....and then of course I had to buy their rear wheel nut socket too.

All going good, 11 months today and 23500km. Only issue so far was a leaking fork seal, but that has been sorted. Just love this bike!

    Any issues your end?

My you've been busy, similar age and I'v just about hit 10000k

I'm a tight bastard, the Hiace jack does the job so adequately the only way I can bring myself to own something like that stand would be to make it.
So far I've bought the castors.

No real issues, except for the broken taillight. Be careful removing the pillion seat, when you lift the front of the seat the back levers down on the taillight and breaks the mounts. Mine's glued on with heavy double sided foam tape for now, I want a better solution but I'm not convinced a new on would make it any less likely to happen again...

In the meantime, it'a an absolute fucking blast.

No viffers or bros models for that one still, gives me a price point to compare against...

Smashed some paint on this bitch.

Works fucking mint, just gotta keep the swarf to a minimum so it doesn't chew up the wheels. While it validates the rear only option, it's a bit sketchy with the SSSA due to flex in the right hand side so I always use it paired up, which is a no brainer when you have the pair of them anyway.

Ocean did you ever get further than buying the castors? I reckon a bent tube SS or Ali one would be the go for next time, saves fucking around with paint.

    Looks good mate.

Nah, I haven't done more than making the service plates for the castors.

I had plenty of SS 16swg process tube around too, but you can't bend that without better gear than I've got, so got some 3/4" sched 40 in for the job. Just haven't done it yet.
