I learnt to ride on my sister's xl185, which is somewhat different sure, but neither are pretty in a Norton kind of way.
I'd prefer a TS250M over all 3.

The abuse mine took trying to keep up with my mates on their TS185s was amazing, the tacho would regularly point to Nippon Denso. I did put three pistons in it though.
Sweet handling wee thing, and the couple of xtra hp I wrung out of it via a cam and compression improved it no end.

That said, any race bike sold ex Auckland has to be viewed suspiciously. Don't care who's selling it.
Many years of observation - and being caught personally once - leads me to believe it's a different mindset ooop there.
My standard advice now is to only believe half the claims - and strip the bike immediately on arrival....
