DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

    Velocette MOV250

Before one of my most precious and significant baubles goes out into the open market, I thought I would put it out there on KB first...just in case someone knows someone who may be interested in owning it...

It is a racer built in the period, has been out with me to many meetings on the track and streets over the years I have owned it and campaigned well.

I have been dithering over selling it for some while now, but realised recently that I was becoming one of those covetous old men who had a thing of real beauty hiding in the shed and being fawned over for no particular reason than, I didn't want to let it go, even though I am a bit over racing motorcycles...I had a problem with these types of covetous old blokes over the years who gave away the game yet wouldn't part with a machine that should be out there, doing it...I really don't want to be one of them...

...I just wanna play on a sidecar now...

...it owes me $7500 which I would be aiming to get for it...

Now that is a cool bike. Looks like a whole lot of goodness for that price.

    Yeah, really Rob.

I just bought a brand spanking new engine for my next FT bike. It's going to be a flash machine, which is a little unlike me. It arrives on March 10th. Never thought I would go back on the dirt oval after near twenty years of avoiding it but now I can't wait.

Here's one to put away. The right model. Game changer. Good maybe great condition, all there and low ks.

Only problem is he wants to make all the capital gain now.

I knew without clicking the link what bike that was. Like you I think he is ahead of the curve but the curve is definitely on an upward swing.

I sent the link to my mate who bought one brand new in 92 or 93 and asked if he was tempted. Apparently not. Also he thinks he paid around $14k for his back in the day.

Strangely none of my mates ever had 900 family and I've never ridden one. Pity.

Definitely a game changer and appreciating - you couldn't restore a rough one to that standard for that money (if you included the purchase price)

I had a Yamaha SRX-6 at the time, and he chucked me the keys and said take it for a spin. Holyfuckingshit.

The Rothmams is beautiful. The RZ makes me want the one in mates lounge. After he puts it in a 3MA.

The VDue wants me to put a big bore RZ350 in it.

    Yeah it does. Dirty Dirty.
