    1986 gsxr1100g

Hey there people. Finally got my hands on the colour I've always wanted. Had two dark blue/white ones and a black and red one...but it's this one I've longed to own. Fell in love all over again. They're an incredibly easy bike to ride. Nice and narrow...skinny tyres make it tip in easy and it's incredibly flickable. Pretty original and tidy. 31000km's. This one's a keeper. Aye.

Hadn't thought of that! Must get hold of the organizers and see if they're gonna do it again. Had you have had your new seat last time...

Cheers mate. It's a nice one for sure. Not perfect...but pretty original and genuine. Feels nice and tight to ride. Not baggy at all. Fast enough for this old cunt too.

Went for a ride yesterday with a mate who has got one of the square headlight 1100s.Funny how his bike and my 15 year old honda were getting all the comments etc whilst surrounded by HDs,triumphs, bmw etc.
Nice bike by the way Pete.

Cheers mate. The thing with old shit is...people don't get to see too many of them any more. So when they do see a nice one...like I do...they dig it.

Did you get that off Mr Collard?
I just bought my favourite color 1100g a couple of weeks back too, the red & blue, same as I raced when they were new.
I cant believe how daily useable they still are.

    Put it in the lounge.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Yep. Because they're slab sided.

No room. I have another vintage KX on the way that'll share it with the SR. That...and I want to ride this thing every now and then!

Lol. I'll roost in your face! Is that a crease in the tank on the left side?

That's the mounting surface for the puzzy magnet. Only 750s need an external P magnet. The 1100 has one built in.
