I tried to find a vendor willing to send here but have up after a fruitless search.

Not to avoid the bin but because a good amount of my riding is in the country after dark. I kind of figure in a good single vehicle accident I might not be found to at least daylight of my lights went out.

Worse I might be strick before I was seen of spayed out on the road.

Best thing you can do is a decent set of see-me lights. The more vertical and horizontal separation from the headlight the better.

It both makes you more visible, and easier for someone who sees you to judge your oncoming speed.

Aye. I have led bars for that. I was alluding to the what if I Cock up on a country road at night.
Post accident lights that were on during impact are less likely to work.
Lying in the middle of the road with no lights even a fluro vest makes pretty good camouflage these days. I must pass 5 of then on the way to work. Just more litter on the road.

This stuff is dangerous.

It will lull drivers into a false sense of security and they'll miss the rider that their headlights don't touch until it's too late.
