I'd be highly surprised if it was being used.

Supposedly a ram-air feed for the airbox just done with cookie cutter through the r/h spar. Before it was refurbed with the new frame the hole was just covered over with some carbon fibre sheet.
When BP ran both 45s on the dyno it ran about 5hp more than the other.

If he just had a regular job for 40 years & put away $50 per week he could have one of those horrible ducati's freehold, and the RC45 as well.

According to the superb reporting of The Harold...

Romanov's colourful reputation came after being convicted of multiple gunpoint robberies, including stealing an $8 million Tissot masterpiece from Auckland Art Gallery in 1998.

He escaped at high speed on a motorbike and was eventually found in a Waikato home wearing a wig to disguise his identity, with the priceless artwork rolled up under a bed.

How can the artwork be priceless, when they have just mentioned its price?
The harold retards are beginning to make "stuff" look remotely intelligent.

Yup that's the one. He took it from the shop for a test ride with the sales rep/ owner of the shop following him on another bike. He did a runner and the bike disappeared for few months till it was found on his property.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

I remember it was big news at the time. It must be well over ten years ago now.

How do you arrange for ram air on the dyno? High pressure fan?

Pass? Pressurised feed I presume, I know that my 12R is meant to feed the airbox at roughly 13bar pressure at speeds above 200km/h & when I ran it on BP's dyno it ran 143hp @ 255km/h unaided and comparing against Muzzy data it'd slam it right in the middle of their specs @ 160 odd ponies.
Both BP's RC45s ran back to back & they noted the variation between the two, but in reality 1 had a pansy'd docile life and the other had been ridden & used with bit of spirit.

I suspect you have your units wrong there - I could go for 13 kilopascals (approx 0.13 bar) for a ram air feed but even the SR71 Blackbird at Mach 3 couldn't generate 13 bar.
13 kPa should give you maybe another 18 horsepower which sounds like a pretty healthy increase from a ram air scoop to me.
    Just slightly off topic but.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
