Agreed but I'm fascinated by their motivations - trying to understand them but can only speculate.

I don't think you are over-reacting - it's definately warped. I don't think that a sane mind can ever understand the workings of another. We choose to filter the information we want and don't want, depending on the looking glass that we want to see through. This site magnifies out of all perspective information selectively chosen to justify some point that the website author wants to believe.

I don't think that there would be any point in being hooked into trying to present a balanced view, or argue for truth - never throw your pearls in front of swine. It just wastes time that could be better spent riding ...

They seem to use American English (i.e. improper English

), so maybe the yanks are trying to make their country appear like a better one by degrading/criticising NZ?

But seriously though, I have no problem if they can back up what they say (freedom of speech and all), but I'm sure anyone can have a similar site for any country in the world - all you need to do is go through the papers, find all the bad news about the country and put them together. What's scary is that some ignorant people are going to see the website, consider NZ a dangerous places because of it (let's face it, which country can honestly say that they are danger-free, and no one ever gets killed/injured?). Good thing that most people aren't ignorant enough to judge NZ simply based on that website

Hmmm...yeah I certainly do not grok virtually every aspect of the site. Hate seems to be the over riding theme....Doubt the site would appeal to any minority group!
'Unbalanced' would be the nicest comment I could make.

Seems someone's just taking the material from other links and posing them up with their own comments. I just had q quick look at some links where the stories have come from news sites Stuff etc.

Put all the shit on one site and it looks a lot worse than it is, still no one should die in custody and the fuckers who shot the duck need string up by the gooly and as for the SIS and Gilchrist stuff been there done that etc.

Mind you whoever is doing this I'd sooner this than the other.........
