Exactly, that's a defacto admission of guilt there.

I've been on the back doors of another truck (about to line him up for a pass) when a cop radared the front truck turned around and disco lighted up behind us.
I tried my luck moving left to give room to pass and he pulled front truck up. I wasn't directed to stop so carried on, nothing came of it for me.

Another time I've known of a cop picking one truck out of a group of five all convoy speeding down a hill....

Always do the friendly wave on through like you think he's on his way to something else like an accident. Only top for repeated tooting and siren blips.

Years ago a mufti pulled a mate over then booted it to catch up to me then waved my mate up and tickted both of us, but fair enough we were both speeding for a significant amount of time while being followed.

Just pay yer ticket and don't don't be stopping so easy next time.

If the Bobbie got You guys with the Laser He would need 3 goes , very easy . if He Pursuit checked Ya (checked your speed with His speedo ) also very easy .
Only the Radar is harder to prove in a group, and Motorways have not got many Radar equiped cars . So just go and pay the the fines and slow down a little .
If You have no Demirits pay the fine sooner because the Demirits start when You pay or get convicted in court ,not from the day of the offence.

That used to be the case years ago. A change going back a long way means that points go on your licence when you either pay the fine or get convicted, but with an effective date of the day you were caught.

Back in the early days of demerits you could manipulate the system, which is why they changed it.

I was on a Ulysses ovenight ride once, the group was travellling home at highway speed but not excessively so, it had been raining and the road was wet. A cop came the other way, put his lights on and did a U turn. My plan was that I was not going to stop because I was not speeding, the detector had picked him up, and since I was toward the back of the group on the inside and there was no way I featured in his reading anyway.

He foiled my plan by overtaking the group, stopping in the middle of the road and flagging everybody down. About ten bikes.

Quite agitated at first, he started to calm calm down when he saw all the grey hair. He said he had got a reading of 140kph from a bike in the group although he didn't know which. (Nor did I.) He said the normal policy in such instances was to ticket the lead rider. I'd have thought tail end charlie was more likely to be going quickest, but such subtleties may elude the non-biking members of our constabulary.

He resorted to giving us his standard road safety speech until it finally occurred, even to him, that he sounded silly and he fucked off.

Wondering if he's allowed to pull over a group and if his speed gun can even prove all 3 riding in close formation were doing the same speed (talking about legal evidence). Anybody had experience with this?
I call B/S. No traffic on Auckland motorways travels at 115kph.

If your lucky they will do 90.

Mmmm, I dunno about that. Few months had a ghost driver doing at least 115 in the hammer lane going in the wrong direction, no lights on, to try and avoid the Police giving chase (to their credit the Police were on the correct side of the m/way and hanging back). The things you see at 3am

Wrong. Every lane is a fast lane.
