One of the guys at work is seriously into his cycling. He had an off at roughly 35km's, running onto gravel at a roundabout and lowsiding, going straight down onto his right side... massive abrasions, gravel rash, the works. He was still pulling bits of gravel out of his skin six months later. Very nasty.

Flat stick it did 62 kmh. So it can't even be called a moped, let alone a power assisted pedal cycle. It's a motorcycle, and requires all the gear motorcycles do.

I reckon our rules aren't flexible enough to allow these things.
Any tests done on stopping distance from that speed?

I'm sure it has better brakes than any stock '60s Triumph.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    You'd be wrong..

Get a ride on a well-fettled stock`69 Daytona, a ~350lb 500 that shared the same 8in TLS front brake as the bigger units..

If its got fat sticky TT 100 rubber, you can haul those things down pretty quick, howling the front on the verge of locking - all the way to the stop..

In fact, you might be surprised how readily they will chirp the tyre, & they're quite sensitive to a ham-fisted grab, not being linear in feel, like a disc..

Standard Vaughn brakes on the one we tested. Shite quality.

Out of interested max speed in lycra on the treddly today was 74 heading south from the peak of Lewis Pass.

Yet I won't ride the Bimmerror without ATGATT.
