    Those pesky cagers

Thought I'd go for another ride today, humming along (honest, i wasnt having fun..) I see a van overtaking a truck infront of me around a bend - nothing extreme, but the truck had a trailer so I couldnt see the traffic on the otherside.

Next thing I see is a car veering off onto grass to avoid the van, followed by a harley completely crossed up. I stopped, then saw another biker behind him stop, so I thought, stay, or chase? I gave chase but only got 3 letters of the number plate. Was pretty dicey being behind the truck as its drifting round corners, and I was getting pelted by all sorts of crap on the road.

Went back and told the guy the details, his bike just has a bent rim - dunno if theres any other damage yet. not sure if he is on here either.

I have lost faith in the honesty of people though. If anyone saw a faded sky blue van around kumeu area around 5ish, that was the prick

Sounds like yet another tin-top f**kwit that shouldn't have a licence.

A good decision to try and get the number, once you had established that another bike was stopping to help the Harley. Shame that you didn't get all the rego details.

Hopefully the van driving pillock will be a contender for the Darwin Awards very soon. I have no sympathy for anyone that overtakes when rounding a corner.
Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.

Fuck that. You see so many arseholes today and that just proves that there will always be contenders for "Fuckwit of the Year"
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Good on ya for giving chase for the rego. I would have done the same.
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis
