All NZ physical shops will be closed until Tuesday.

Best look for online Xmas specials - still won;t be attended to for deliver until next week.

Off-shore sites will be firing on all cylinders from boxing day no doubt!

    Not in Auckland.

    Cycletreads, for one, is open.

Edit: Unless you mean stores that sell actual bikes.

I'm not closed on Boxing Day...I have at least a dozen XL Hondas, they are all fucked or in salesmens terms, good runners. I have rusty thirty year old chains and a selection of old British things, mainly bent pushrods and oily broken bits, some exhaust pipes and a thousand old fucked carbs.
Please book in for this once in a leap year (salesmens waffle again 'cos thats next year) opportunity to own some really spectacularly popular crap because I think I may be having a really big day.

30 per cent off. Yes 30 per cent.

So if you gave me $1000.00 to take it all and clean out your shed with your generous offer of 30% off does that mean you will give me $1300.00 or $700.00

So it appears - and advertising on their website a 10-50% off sale. In my experience the 50% bit on NZ bike sales usually applies to a couple of old tyre tubes, a 6XL helmet that will only fit Hitcher and a tail tidy for a obsolete bike.

It's a bit sad they are open really - take a break.

Me I'd shut it all down for compulsory stat days if I ran the country. Then they'd all moan at me.

Equally sad is the fact I am on KB this morning!

    Merry Christmas all.

You are not alone. The wife worked all night so I'm waiting for her to have a sleep, then It's a long drive down to Fielding and then back again tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for any bike shop sales along the Western Bay Access road tomorrow.

No mention anywhere on here about anybody riding to Wanganui tomorrow.

In NZ we dont get proper sales for M/cycle gear. Its an industry stuck in the 70s in that regard. Which is why so much comes in through the internet.

Sadly many have to work today. My beloved was very lucky to get today off. Medical folk have to help all the time.

There's usually a table with some t-shirts and gloves at boxing day races in wangas, so there's your answer, get on the bike early and head on down.
Don't you look at my accountant.
