How do you warm your bike up?

Just wondering how everyone warms their bikes up -

For me, I let it idle for about 2 mins, blipping the engine occaisionaly until it starts freeing up.

Then I ride the bike softly until the temp guage is in operating temperature.

    bike warm up...

    Gidday Shade,

Bike mechanic over in Taupo says let it warm up for "about" 90 secs and just a tad longer if it's really cold. Just enough time to slap the helmet and gloves on. Couple of high blips on the throt to endear the neighbours to me and I'm riding into the sunset.

I start mine on full choke, ease the choke back almost immediately to half, and no choke at all after about a minute. I do all this while I'm putting in earplugs, helmet and gloves on (life for us old buggers is about correct sequence...), which takes a couple of minutes (at least if the sequence is right). Then it's Hiyo Silver, away! (Sounds better than "giddy-up candy green)

I let her run until the top end rattle shuts up,about two minites, then take it easy for the first five km,s which for me is into and through town.
My nextdoors have a 900ss duke so I can't really upset him anyway,We sometimes compete to see who can make the most noise.
He warms up for a looooooooooong time, but I suspect he's just trying to make
    me jealous,It works to

Yeah much as above which is following the bike's manual anyway. Fire it up on full choke and start getting riding gear on and ease back the chole as the engine warms up and starts revving higher so ease it back to keep the revs under 2,000. By the time I'm ready and jump on I shut the choke right back and then off. I like to tune myself up as well so never start off riding like the clappers just ease into and go a bit faster when the temp of the bike reaches normal.
    Cheers

Warm mine up until the temp gauge shows at least 55 degrees c before setting off. Then ride gently for the first few Ks to let the tyres warm up a bit.

Wrapped up in a blanket in front of the fire, a couple of shots of whiskey then off to bed!

Start mine on about 1/3rd choke, let it idle for a min while I do the whole jacket, helmet, glove, check in mirror to make sure I really do look cool as f@ck and then blippety blip and I'm off, dont thrash it till I've done about 5km's unless I'm feeling cruel/late/up for it(so about every ride then

Hehe... you just start up, select "Temp" on your multifunction display and when it hits 50 degrees C, you're good to go

Go on then, flaunt your computerised engine management system, if you must!! I suppose there's even an "anti-highside avoidance system" fitted as well??

I let mine get to 120 F (Canadian Spec) on the temp gauge. By which time I'm good to go...
