    Calling all Hayabusa owners

I may be forced to make a move over to Aussie next year and was thinking about getting a Busa.
To me it made sense for doing long hauls (touring around) with the a pillion and plenty of gear.

I'm not really to fussed about top speed potential but rather the open road cruising comfort and luggage potential.

I know the Busa has a reputation for amazing power delivery, so can you tell me...

    - Is the power liveable or is it simply insane?
    - Does it make for a good two up tourer ?
    - Does it eat rear tyres if your not thrashing it everywhere?
    - Is it a comfortable bike for the pillion?

I plan to test ride one just as soon as I can find a bike shop happy to part with one.... Colemans ?????

    Thanks for your time,
    Paul.
    Not even with yours!!!

Have ridden one for a while, power is great until you turn the throttle, then its just fun, easy to go faster, not easy to slow down again.

Watch it on the hills, has a huge amount of torque and will throw the back wheel out with ease.

Tyres will last a long time until you use the throttle.

    2 up is ok .

you're not really fussed about top end speed and want to cruise? Well, that's a cruise missile, so mission acomplished. No idea myself tho, never ridden one.
Dare I say - goldwing..?? if you just want to tour/cruise in comfort and have tons of stuff to lug around, might not be a bad idea.. I wouldn't mind doing something like that..

    Arse - feck!

Oh - and given the choice - go for Sydney. Awesome place (Melb is cool, but more traditional... kinda screwy in my personal opinion...)

Yea - I've spent time in both and Sydney would be my choice. More work in Syders too. (the reason I'm going).

And I'll have a whole continent to explore

it's called 'experiance' apparently.. I'm 26 and I'd have a go.. doesn't mean you have to keep it, just makes a great easy going tourer.
Depends on how many k's/hours you think you'll be on it too.. but the busa might do the trick. Not ridden either, so can't say. Just a half-arsed comment to make it look like I'm paying attention..
