Well in light of the recent success of my other post with a crazy title I've tried it again to see if it works. Don't give me bad rep points because this thread doesn't contain any bullshit.

I will be fitting some decent quality tyres on my ZXR the moment I have $500 spare cash. So the question is, can anyone recommend some decent tyres for the ZXR. I am currently running Bridgestone BT39ss on my FXR and I am very happy with these tyres. The equivalent SS tyres to fit a ZXR will be too expensive but what I am after is a set of tyres that provide a good quality grip with good feedback. I'm inclinded to go for either Bridgestone or Pirelli but would like some feedback from those who have actually used the tyre on their ZXR and and what they thought of it.

Running Michelin Pilot Sports (name change to Pilot Power?) on the Bandit and have never had it step out on me even in the wet!
The new ones have a 50deg lean angle in the dry!
Having a new rear fitted tomorrow, you would get change out of your $500 too!
Getting it from Mt E, it will be there most of the day so have a look and see what you think.

i ran a pirelli diablo mtr01 110/70 on the front with a dunlop gpr80 on the back, and it tipped into corners real quick like and stuck like shit to a blanket except for one inicdent that invovled ridges on the road and a big ass fencepost compliments by a dropoff (how the bike didnt go all teh way down still confuses me)

my setup is BT45 front, and BT92 rear, the 92 i believe is a more track-type rubber and as such sticks like crazy - as you saw by the condition of it. keep in mind that that is after 10,000km
