    My wetsuit's shrunk...

The last time I was underwater with scuba was February 1983. The very same day I completed my advanced scuba ticket at the Leigh Marine Reserve.

Don't you just throw the gear on, clamp the rubber bit in your mouth and jump in?

How qualified do you need to be to do that?

First I have heard of that. I have sinus problems which tends to bring on a bit of asthma and I have had no problems with diving

When Junction Ski and Underwater were bought out by DiveHQ they changed their courses. I had done my SSI open with them allready.

    My wetsuit fell t'bits!
Last time I scuba'd was about the same time as mr H, after hitting The Poor Knights twice a month for about 5 years!
Got me NZUA basic scuba with Guy Kidd, at the Dive Centre in Wairau Rd, in Feb, 1976!
    Bloody wetsuits....only last 25 yrs......mutter grumble....

Guy Kidd, eh? There's a man who's been around for a long time. Bit of a legend in the dive industry.

    A keen diver here.
We've got a bach at Opito Bay - Coromandel.
Old fibrelight job - but is beachfront , 2 x beer fridges, 5 bedrooms, h & c water, flush toilet, 17' runabout plus a tractor - what else do you need.
I'm a bit busy with my new business at the moment but I'm definitely on for a weekend further into summer.

Well. i will be in. Haven't been diving for a fair while, and the tanks are out of test.
    sounds like a plan.

I'd be keen for a weekend dive. Got my PADI open water at Leigh a few years back. Have done a bit of scenic diving in Fiji & at the Poor nights. Got a Fuji F810 and an underwater case too, but need to hire a suit & tank etc.
