    Alloy or Magnesium?

    set of E P M wheels, owner claims they're alloy, how does one know whether they are this or magnesium?

    Set fire to them - if they start easily and burn with an intense white flame they are Magnesium.

    You don't need to set them alight. If you smash them against the concrete and it sparks/shatters/explodes (how strong are you?) Then it's magnesium

    Ask the company who made them its likely has a material code cast into them.

    Ignore Kick, I agree, Sizes are appropriate for the bike too. If as i suspect the Avons are unused, the price means the rims are cheap....
