$25 large buys a lot of bike now days. Big market to be in and the retro crowd may be lured into the future when pressed to front up with the coin.

That would buy you a real one...and you'd never lose money on it.

There is a genuine T120R Thruxton with all the factory optional bells and whistles here in ChCh but it's only brought out rarely.
But it's gorgeous. They sound weird though with the genuine factory linked pipes and empty silencers. Not like a Triumph at all.

I have enough bikes that I wont lose money on that I ride about once a year.

I don't think they will sell a lot of them here and the used value will hold up like the Ducati Sports Classic of a few years back.

I had the earlier Thruxton and whilst I liked the Retro, it had less get up and go than my 1974 R90s.

Brain fart - yes, i meant that with the bits available now for both pre unit and unit Triumphs, there's no reason not to use them as they should be used.
