You have a decent riding jacket, pants, etc? If so you should be ok.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

And where do you put the rain suit when you are not on the bike?

When I was at uni, they had lockers you could rent for the term. Big enough for all your gear.

You could be a cunt like half the riders I see and just leave your wet gear in one of the computer labs draped over a chair but I suggest not doing that.

Grab a locker. Depending on which uni you mean you can usually get them from your department or one of the centrally managed units (both usually via a student asscociation not direct from the uni/departmen) which ends up meaning your gear is more convenient to where you are working. Find some and they usually have signs up about who to speak to. Helmets tend to be a bit wide so sometimes people lock them to the outside stopping other people getting into their lockers.

Or you could scooter up your new bike and get a top box and chuck your wet shit in there so it is nice and ready for you when it comes time to head home.

Just wear it all day, that way everyone will know you ride a motorbike & it will make you look styley, cool & a bit gangster.

I just bought new Scott Ergonomic rain jacket and pants to wear over my normal gear when it's raining as I have a longish commute http://www.boydmotorcycles.co.nz/sto...23&t=1&c=71173 Best wet weather gear I've ever had. It actually is waterproof.

I go to work instead of Uni....

But seriously if it is going to be wet, I ride commando, take a spare change of clothes, then when I get to work, I stick the wet gear in the hot water cupboard

Stay at home and polish the bike up....
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
