The latest "are you paying attention survey"......

Its time the police also prosecuted the media also. I've lost count the number of times XXXXXXXX media in particular as used crash or road rage cellvids/pics clearly filmed/photo'd hand held by the driver of a moving car.....
We've had accessory to boy racer charges in our paper here just for people being passengers to an idiot, so how about accessory to cellphone use.....

Worth a note that it's still legal to do it with a camera or camcorder because somehow only doing it with a phone is unsafe.

Same with using CB and PRS radios (like the fuzz also use). Somehow safe but talking on a cellphone isn't...

This is my theory on it, plus it also helps keep us in good light with the rest when the inevitable push to ban bikes comes... It won't stop it but it might have a couple less people waving the pitch forks

yes & no, it's just not easy cash moneys like the cellphone is; but what others were doing was still against the rules & are chargeable offenses

Well there was certainly a cop around then wasn't there?

The other day as I was walking between offices I saw one of the moto popo's hding on his bike in one of the motorcycle parks on Symonds street at Auckland Uni. He looked a little funny there scanning up and down the road like a scared meerkat

It was probably one of those cunts that uses their horns for any excuse at night. After the hour of such and such and before the hour of this and that you aren't meant to use your horn outside of emergencies...

I wish that applied here. Lazy bastards pull up to their compounds at any hour, night or day and sit on the horn until either the wife or the maid comes running out to open the gate. Never oil the hinges either so you get to hear them creaking as well. And then there's the "clunk" as the bolt goes home.
