    To good to be true?

    Could the ADV world be lucky enough for this to be Yamaha's reply to Honda's new Africa twin ?..
    Prob not....

    would yamaha put excel rims on as standard....
    think it's just another internet pic.....

    It does look nice, but I am still waiting for the all new KLR.

    Come on Kawasaki next year is the 30th anniversary of the current model!! Shoot the accountants and spend some coin on r&D ffs.
    I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

    Looks like its built around an MT07 frame and engine.

    Yeah and looks too small to be a "Super Tenere" though. Maybe just an artist impression as Pete suggests.

    There are some "spy" shots taken near a Yamaha factory of a Tenere styled bike in development I believe with a 700cc MT07 motor.....google it.....the photo I saw didn't look anything like this one

    Defo an artists impression Imho, having recently clogged a front mudguard..., but a 700cc Tenere prototype is doing the rounds in Italy, looks like the 660 after a big night out. If Yamaha have picked up the accessory baton, as the Euros have, then maybe they are planning on offering a "how dirty do you want to get?" option.

    Nice thought.

    Yamaha have just released the XSR range, i think they gave a bunch of bikes to builders to create some hype, possibly the same thing here?
