I had a nice long ride yesterday up through SH12. Beautiful ride and reminded me how beautiful this country is. Truely is godszone. Hill over Opononi is fantastic. Anyway coming down the hill towards Waipoua forest just looks like it goes on forever and got me thinking if i was a bigfoot or moa thats where i would be hiding out.

Slightly, very slightly, off topic. I was talking to a fulla who used to hunt in the Waipoua forest t'other day and he was telling me about the remains of stone buildings in the forest. Quite a lot of them. Now that's interestin. So is the Kauri which is bigger than Tane Mahuta but kept hush hush.

Interesting. Would be keen to go through and have a look myself. Would he be keen to guide a small group? And does he believe in bigfoot? I do the world is so huge just look at the forests if he doesnt want to be found you arnt going to find him. He is known as rakshasha in india/nepal which means demon. Some of them have magic powers too.

they're kindof the worst kept secret. Just that noone wants to acknowledge them, least of all the murrays. it would indicate a stone age population while they were running around with sharpened sticks. Also very similar foundation pattern to other old cultures from miles across the sea. Before boats!

So y'know. Aliens.

Also, wouldnt recomend going in without blessing. Good way to get your car torched.

The great Arthur's Pass Moa sighting of 1993. Visited the pub a year or so after and there was clear evidence of Moa, well there were a few Masports hanging on the wall so close enough.
