Nice write up. My friend is just looking at getting one for a wee run about. Seem to be good value for money compared to other brand new options, and the reviews are positive regarding highway gearing, pep and range.

Looked at one of these but ended up going for the Honda XR150 for another grand new because it felt better quality
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

The one I looked at in Hamilton had one annoying feature. As soon as I stood the bike up, the side stand sprung up. Okay if you are standing on the left side, but I wasn't, due to the left being up against the next bike in the row. For 3G, probably good value for what it is and can do.

RMOTO, thanks for the reviews. Gives us far more insight than most websites. The wheel bearings would be a concern. I would be inclined to follow Slicksta's lead and look at the Honda, or the Kawasaki 150, although a lot dearer.
