    Depends on how you like to ride really mate. If you occasionally like to press on, the FLH's will tie themselves in knots. The Softail frame is far superior to any other Big Block Chassis. The FLH's have the forks in *behind* the steering head (seriously) for light steering at low speed. But that's not so great for handling at higher speeds. Trust me. I also think the *B* engine is smoother than the rubber mounted items.

    Have a good look at the road king classic Awayatc.

    You can fit screen ,rear seat, backrest, luggage rack , load her up and cruise in comfort or strip down and rip through the hills and they do ok with the right suspension setup. My last softail was no quicker and less fun.

    Thanks for some very help full comments and pretty pics...

    My old girl has gone through a few wee"changes" , and can at times surprise even the odd sports bike..

    May want to look at my Lugage options, leatherbags be a lot better if they could be made quick detachable..
