Boscos is brilliant, we always stopped there on our group rides, even rang though and they reserved tables for us because it can get busy.
Bikers always top here at the Bus Stop Cafe in Mangakino, it's cash only but hot food/great coffee and the outlook is awesome. (photo)

    Dixie Browns @Taupo for breakKY

Maha I have stopped beside the bus at Manga kino a few times usually after hours but the view is nice having a cuppa from thermos
Same as Boscos I must start riding at more civilised times obviously.
Tell kuiti Chinese and European takeaway is a welcome dinner

I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

    How to eat a Pie

Question for the Pie eating junkies on pie eating etiquette...

Out of the bag or on a plate with sauce. Cut up on a plate or whole and cut as you go?

Out of the bag for me if its well made..... Some don't seal the lid properly and that ruins the out of the bag experience!

Pretty sure we stopped at Dixie Browns on the way to Napier...Bar type cafe? Is that where they have the row of food spots across from the waterfront where they have the big area of tables?

Done that area a few times from the different food outfits.

Always out of the bag and never with sauce. In my world anyway.
