You will need to have a good feed before you get there on Friday night as theres nothing onsite till SAT , buy your beer/bourbon etc and take with you for fri night.

Take a good rain jacket.

Get some cheap as firestarters from the supermarket and a lighter.

If your there Friday grab a HEAP of supplied wood and crank up your fire before sundown.

Remember the more you drink the less the hurt when fall/slide over on the ice

....till the next day

Nah, it's all full of riders from the Norfeyeland and other furrin places that don't get cold....

stand pad i have now happened to be found at the brass monkey rally circa 2000.

looking forward to it, just gotta pack bike up tomorrow night then hit the road like on friday morning

I'll be riding down from Christchurch from Sat morning (8-9am ish) straight down SH1. If anybody sees a short Asian on a black S1000RR at a gas station (or stranded on side of the road) feel free to say hi!
