hey guys

i have this really lamelittle scooter that i love hooning around town on and getting me from a to b and i will always beep nod wave etc to any other biker i see, but ive given up on waveing etc to people that ride harleys... only one guy that i have waved to on those big compressors have waved back (and i think his one was a japanese touring ) but i just cant figure out why they wont wave, just cause their bike is big noisy they can t be like every other biker ive waved at and make the society nicer instead they mostly give you the one fingered salute. on know its kinda lame tootoing to everyone on a scooter, but im not alowed my bike licence (mum says its dangerous or something) so my scooter will just havr to cut it. anyway that was my piontless raving for the day, sorry to make you read this but hey.

ps, this is not pointed out to all harlely owners, just these ones

don't worry, most people either don't see you or don't have the time to wave or nod back. Normally I'm concentrating on the road ahead and not who's on the other side of the road/motorway.

Most Harley riders are buisnessmen that brought the bike for the image and are unaware of the biker wave, or just think that they're better than you cause they have a car engine strapped to a step ladder frame and 2 tyres with chicken strips

its funny..(not really) but i always read on KB how harly bikers are to "cool" to wave but i never thought that they were such tossers.... i think that they have small dick syndrome and have to make up for it by buying really bige loud "look at me bikes"

have to say in general I wouldn't bother saluting scooters, for the simple fact that most are ridden by pre-pubesent spotty oiks, with as much road craft as a rabbit and the intelligence of labotimised monkey.
Same goes for those pecker-heads who go about town on those mini chopper things in gangs of 20, that sound like a nest of wasps, and move slower then the dead.

When you get people who won't wave, do the absolutely OTT thing. Wave like your arm is going to come off. They still don't wave but it feels good to be an idiot when noone can recognise you.

Waving to people on bikes. There are alot of wankers that make it their live from putting down Harley Riders.

For one thing I ride a Harley, two I am no a bussines man, three i wave or nod when able.

Last weekend I went to Mokau with some others and waved to every bike the we saw, around 30 and only had about three wave back.

They were on Jappers, so dont maintain that harley riders are the only ones that dont wave back

You really need to get over this inferiority thing, scooters are cool, and you said it yourself you love riding it. That's all that matters.

Someone doesn't wave, it's their problem. I'm more of a nodder myself, but there's absolutely zero correlation between wave/nod/ignore and the bike in my experience.

I suppose your gonna run up and twak some little kid round the head and steal their lollipop just cause they don't return a wave as well??
