Too many 'tards on the roads!

I should've enjoyed my ride in this morning - the weather was nice, I'm almost feeling not like death warmed up, and I was early, so there was no hurry.
However (But!), the longer my commute went on, the more pissed off I got.
Why are there so many freakin' retards , f'tards, smacktards and other sub-human elements on the road? How do they get their licences?

I'm not going to repeat all the IncidentsOfIdiocy, but the crowning one was this:
I was riding down a twisty, nicely-surfaced SuburbanTouristRouteByway, and had to take evasive action to avoid being backed over by someone on the other side of the road. Why? WHY?!?!
Because the stupid bitch was trying to back out of her drive one-handed, and talk on the cellphone at the same time!!
    Why?
How freakin' hard would it have been for her to finish her conversation before trying to back up?!? Or maybe she started driving, and went, "Duh... this is like SO boring. I think I'll phone my girlfriend."

    [/rant mode off]
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Well hey - I didn't know that.

I just keep forgetting how stupid people are.
What scares me is that program about NZ's worst drivers. Presumably, the ones on the show are just a small representative sampele of the many thousands of people who've been let loose with a license to crash, maim, kill, and generally cause mayhem.
    ... and that's what I think.

This is a sad world and the only thing that will change them is when they injure someone else. Stupid fucktards, why were they allowed in the gene pool
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

No, that doesn't even change them. Only deeply felt personal or financial pain imprinted on their psyche will stop them.

Kind of on subject, one of the sales guys and I had a 'spirited' ride home last night. I exited the Northern before him and he went on the Barry's Point Rd where a cager "didn't see him". He didn't hit the car (just), but did the stoppie from hell and endo-ed. It was very considerate of him to break the bikes fall with his body I thought, it was left rideable.

    I hear ya.

I'd love to get a bike mounted paint ball gun, heads up display kind of targetting (I'm sure it has a proper name).

She backs out - I shoot the car.

I wonder if you can buy ball bearings the right size...?

    Different category/species - they're 'leet'.

Yeah, he's young enough to bounce. My crashes are the low-side, fall off screaming type. Only nana riders have these.

Sorry to hear about the GSX.

I was heading south on the southern and managed to avoid the cop sitting at the Mt Wellington off ramp. Favourite spot for them as you come round the corner into the rising sun you don't always see them sitting at the top there.

    Enjoyed my commute this morning.
If someone won't leave you alone just ask them to wait in the far que.

Get an air gun, little side arm would do the trick and you could keep it in your jacket pocket, anyone does anything stupid, BAM you just got knocked the fuck out!
