    VOXAN CHARADE

Nice looking bike from the Paris show. I hadn't heard of a French company by that name. The bike looks great. Only 179kg for a 996cc V-Twin. I like what they have done with the exhaust and the colour scheme looks great.

There is a Quicktime movie clip as well, but it won't open for me.

    AMPS in Auckland sell them
The motor was designed for the V rod but Harley didn't take it on.
    Wasn't primitive enough

    Not any more.
I tested the Cafe Racer for Kiwi Rider. Not a bad bike - very stable on the road and looked quite nice.
Engine wise there was not a lot of difference between one and a V-rod.
I also think V-rods go great. Just don't have enough ground clearance for NZ. Street rod is a different story. Yummmm!

I presume that was a joke? Couldn't see Harley putting a frog engine in their bikes. They'd rather croak first.

But serious. I wonder if it was because of the anti French sentiment floating over the US because of the French criticism of the US Iraq invasion. Just a thought.

I'd like to see some actual pics of the bike when they are available. That looks like an artists impression.
