So Australia now will deport anybody opposed to the Iraq war. In a democracy "Freedom of Speech" is about the most important human right. In a fascist system "Freedom of Speech" is a crime.

Australia is sliding quickly down the slippery slope to Fascism. It would appear that under the Aussie system of "DEMOCRACY" certain persons like myself and others who inhabit this forum are now officially "security threats" in Australia. Welcome to the new world of Fascist Democracy people.
'Tis all good. Diverts attention away frm us Communists, whilst we prepare the Revolution. The Red Peril will ride again !

Alright I admit that's a bit rough, but if I do the same thing is Oz as I do now I can afford two bikes. One for racing and one for road riding. Aint no way that can happen here.
Superdukes. Serving up shame to sportsbikes since ages ago.

For all those that think labour won something. Umm, we use MMP here - they havn't won anything.

Labour have 50 seats. In order to pass a law, do a budget, or make any decision, they need 61 seats (121/2 rounded). To get that, they need the green party + jim anderton = 57 + another 4 votes from any of the other parties (who are bench sitters).

Now, any thing labour does, that is likely to annoy the other parties, means that they will side with national. When you add up NZ 1st, Maori, United, Act and Nat you get 64 seats - meaning labour would lose on that policy.

What it means is that for the first time ever, NZ has a concensus government (traditionally it would have been called a hung parliament and a new election called).

This type of government means that each party most govern roughly center left or center right (no extremes). NZ first will only support labour in supply and confidence - not in policy (it means the government can run day to day, but cant implement policy).

The next major step is the budget - I wonder how many of labours election promises are going to eventuate - free student loans anyone ?
The contents of this post are my opinion and may not be subjected to any form of reality
It means I'm not an authority or a teacher, and may not have any experience so take things with a pinch of salt (a.k.a bullshit) rather than fact

No position of power should be given to anyone who applies for it!
I voted for NZ First, it’s not like they where going to win but I wanted a loud mouth watch dog somewhere in there!
    Anyway, whoever wins, we lose…
In another 3 years some more lying cheating thieves who have never done a days work will be scrabbling to line there pockets with our tax money.
And all of the promises go straight out the window after the first 5 minuets in the halls of power.
As far as they are concerned we are here to pay them and support every whim they want to push through, usually as a new and even more abstract law to scam even more of our cash, or some other hastily thought piece of crap legislation to justify there existence and fat salary!
And if the opposition get their hand on the ball they use the excuse that “It was broken when we got here”
But not actually fix it, why do that when we can patch it up at five times the price, wait for it to fall over again, then sell it to the lowest bidder only to bail them out at twice the cost in 6 months.
But don’t worry, the service is still there, just run by a private (offshore) consortium that is making a billion a year off you!
And why would we want a tax cut? Its only 20% PAYE, and 12.5% GST, And ACC, and rates, fuel tax, etc, etc…
And that just for wage slaves! Hmmm, 20% is one fifth, so Monday you work for Helen and Co, Wanna go to work on Monday now don’t ya!
On top of this we have Doctors fees and other medical expenses, prescription costs are a biggy.
School fees are getting larger year by year…
Road tolls? We don’t own our public transport system but our rates go into supporting them, and we pay for the parking wardens who police the bus stops!
We have no discernible defence force left…
We don’t have enough cops per head of pop, who earn bugger all and spend most of the time scraping our wallets for 10k infringements!
So where dose the money go?
We have the lowest unemployment that we have had for years, so it can’t be that.
    So where?
All bitter and twisted now, should have stopped at the first line.
We all have our little obsessions...

Keep your eye on the purchasing power of your dollars.
I mean the ones "you" get to keep. Not the ones they steal off you.
Just watch it shrink over the next three years. Thats just one item to watch.
Work harder, pay more dues. The Cities gave it to Helen. Enjoy.

lol I saw a Helengrad party last night in the city, what a joke, They were sitting on this charter boat moored up and had teens waving Red flags on the stern of it.......

I walked past a Pakastanie and Chinese who were both laughing at the people on the boat, the latter saying "Oh my God, it's like back at home..." I turned around and said "Yeah, Welcome to Helengrad, mate"

Thats me being cynical mate. I think the student loan policy is the biggest most insulting bribe i've seen from a party.

I'm sick of paying for others.
