Thanks for the offer but I just chuck mine in the washing machine. Also, it'd only be worth 50c to wash, it's smaller than most cleaning rags.

this isnt to go towards the R6, its so i can pay off small debt asap.

On a more serious note, i am serious about doing this and if you dont have time to clean your bike then let me do it. Crashe, sixpakbak and swanman will all tell you i can do a decent cleaning job in 20mins, so if i spend an hour on your bike then imagine what it will be like.

Hehehe - yeah will do - know anyone who can lend me $20/hr??

The reason I recommended Gareth is he bought his ZXR in little bits in several boxes and put a bit of blood, sweat and tears into getting it all together.

EDIT : Yeah and he's pretty ok making 10 year old chains look like new again - eh Swanny??

    cool.
been wanting someone to clean my bike for ages

    wont take long haha

fairings dont really need a clean just the chain and wheels need some good cleaning.

only reason fairings wont need a clean is cos im repainting them all this week. fuck you should see my tank now that its finally gotten started. no more is it black with purple streaks from where I splilt petrol but its finally the metallic blue that it deserves. not to mention I sanded the petrol cap down so its polished metal and no longer black.

My bikes smaller than a gsx250, lighter too, do I qualify for the budget clean or is pricing based on the formula that 250 riders are learners, generally younger and poorer than the rest of us? Also is a wash of a naked bike cheaper or more expensive?

oh yeah and I do agree with someone who posted up there somewhere that your prices are too cheap.
only $10 in your pocket to clean a 250cc bike?

I reckon that might be worth it for my bike considering you will hardly be touching the fairings but.

    well

    $20 for a Large road bike/cruiser
$25 for a caked Dirt bike (negotiable depending on condition)

$5 of every bike washed will go back to KB for site costs etc.

I can either come to you or you can drop it off to me (in Greenhithe).

I will be using Armour All Heavy Duty Car wash with a chamoix and and soft bristled brush for all wheels and plastics etc.

For the chain i will use a nail brush and then re-oil with Castrol chain oil.

All stainless/chrome will be polished with autosol.

PM me for details and to arrange a time.
Good on ya. Hope things go well.

I will be talking to Spankme soon to see just how much need $$$ the site requires to keep it running and may adjust the $5 accordingly. I could charge more but i mean i used to get paid $10 for cleaning a car... and i didnt enjoy that.

If people are willing i wont turn down travel fees, but then again i can get nearly anywhere in auckland and back for under $5, and if it fits in with my travel arrangements then its not so much of a problem.

As for the naked bikes... what kind of bike is it? Will see what its like when i see it, but it'd be best to have your $20 handy just in case.

oh yeh, if you are expecting me to come and do it at your place you will need to have a bucket and a water supply (preferably a hose) that i can use.

Yes, I need my bike cleaned (it's been covered in road spooge for months), but I like to do it myself. Apart from the fact I've got no driveway, so all the soapy suds go down the gutter to help clean the fish, and there invariably seems to be a steady stream of passersby around me as I'm washing it so I feel like a nong...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
