    Best place to get tyres?

What's the best place to get dirt bike tyres? Looking for a 140-80-18 m5b. For a cr500, if anyone has some other tyre suggestions.

The Motoz ST is good bang for buck, hooks up well and has respectable longevity. It is a 120, but like many tyres that fluctuate with actual physical width, it is quite a wide 120 and similar to many 130/140 from other manufacturers:

There are some good reviews here for other tyre option ideas:

    bits4bikes , the importers public website lists a 130 as the widest M5b . A 140 is actually a 120 , its just a different way of measuring . The widest dirt tyres you get a real 120s .

Yeah I figured they were measured different. Dont really feel like paying $200 for a tyre though

Looking at one of these from boyds, http://www.boydmotorcycles.co.nz/sto...88&t=4&c=71142

Not sure if it'll fit though, not sure if its measured the same as the IRC tyre?

I think the consensus is that the best place for tyres is on the wheels, between the motorcycle and the road.

Mmm, not convinced that's the consensus in the "Off Road" forum.
